Measure, draw and quote flooring jobs on site.
Floortake is a flooring estimator app for installers. Measure the rooms, draw the plan, count the boxes or rolls, and hand the customer a signed quote before you leave. Carpet, tile, vinyl, laminate and hardwood. Works without signal.
One drawing does the work
The plan you draw gives the material count, the cut list, the quote and the CAD file. You type each size once.
Counted the way it is laid
Boxes and cuts for planks and tile. Drops and seams for carpet and sheet vinyl. Area for poured floors.
Yours, on your phone
No account to create. Quotes and clients stay on the phone, and a backup is one file. Works with no signal.

How it works
Three steps on the phone, in the order you already work.
Draw the room
Tap a wall and type its length. Add doors and windows, split a wall, or bow one for a bay. Start from an L, T or U shape, or draw over a photo of the plan.
Other ways to measure →
Check the count
Pick the product and the lay pattern. Floortake counts full pieces, cuts and waste for planks and tile, and drops, seams and roll length for carpet and sheet vinyl. Underlay, grout and prep come with it.
Every flooring type →
Send the quote
The PDF shows the plan in the chosen flooring, the prices, your photos and your terms. The customer signs on your phone. When the job is won, turn the quote into an invoice and record the payments.

Five ways to measure a room
Use whichever fits the job. They all end in the same plan.
Type the sizes
Length and width, in feet and inches or metres. Good for a quick square room.
Draw or trace
Draw the walls on the screen, or lay a photo of the plan underneath and trace it to scale.
Laser meter
Leica DISTO meters connect over Bluetooth. Press the button and the reading lands in the field. Other meters send a file.
LiDAR scan
On an iPhone with LiDAR, walk the room and the walls, doors and windows come back as a plan.
Laser meter readings
Connect a Leica DISTO and each reading is ready to tap into the length or width. Bosch, DeWalt and others can send a spreadsheet or CSV from their own app.

Plans from CAD
Open a DXF file from AutoCAD, FreeCAD, Blender or a laser meter app. Each closed shape becomes a room. Every quote exports a DXF for the office.

Signature on the phone
Hand the phone to the customer. The quote is marked accepted with their name and the date, and the PDF carries the signature.

Per box, per roll or per square foot, from your own price list, with your usual waste and tax.

Boxes and a cut list for straight, diagonal, herringbone, chevron and brick patterns.
Carpet & sheet vinyl
Roll width and length, the drops and seams, pattern repeat and the minimum order.
Poured & others

Built for the field
What flooring installers, tile contractors, and estimators say about using Floortake on site.
“Scanning an entire master bath with the LiDAR scan and having the box counts and square footage calculated before walking out the front door is incredible. Cut my takeoffs from an hour down to 10 minutes.”
“The roll goods seam planner paid for the app on day one. Finding the roll direction that minimizes drops saved us 18 linear feet on a single 3-bedroom job. The dashed seam layout in the PDF convinced the homeowner immediately.”
“Clients are blown away when they get a branded PDF quote with the room plan and prices while I'm still standing in their living room. Having them sign on screen right then and there closes deals on the spot.”
“Working in basements and new construction with zero cell service is where cloud apps fail. Floortake is completely offline, pairs smoothly with my Leica DISTO over Bluetooth, and never freezes.”
“Herringbone and diagonal patterns used to mean guessing the waste factor and hoping you didn't run short. Floortake’s waste calculation and cut lists make box counts accurate every single time.”
“Being able to export a complete DXF with door swings and 3D floor layers directly into AutoCAD saves our office drafting team hours of redraw work on every commercial project.”

Which types of flooring can Floortake estimate?
Tile and stone, laminate, hardwood, vinyl plank and vinyl tile, carpet, sheet vinyl, and products sold by area such as poured resin. Boxed products get a box count, a cut list and the waste from the lay pattern. Carpet and sheet vinyl get drops, seams and the roll length to order.
Does the app work without internet?
Yes. Rooms, materials, clients, quotes, invoices, photos and signatures are all stored on the phone. Google Drive sync is optional and only runs when you turn it on.
How do I measure a room with Floortake?
Five ways. Type the length and width. Draw the walls, doors and windows. Trace a photo of a plan. Scan the room with LiDAR on a supported iPhone. Or connect a Leica DISTO laser meter over Bluetooth and tap each reading into the field. Other laser meters can send their measurements as a file.
Can I open the plans in AutoCAD?
Yes. Every quote can be exported as a DXF file with the floor plan, doors and windows, and a 3D floor and wall layer. It opens in AutoCAD, FreeCAD and Blender. You can also import a DXF from a laser meter app or from CAD, and its closed shapes become rooms.
How much does Floortake cost?
The app is free to download. Floortake Pro is a subscription billed by the App Store or Google Play, monthly or yearly, at the price shown in the app for your country. You can cancel at any time in the store.
Which languages does the app support?
English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese and European Portuguese. The PDF quote your client receives is in the same language.
Can I estimate materials from Home Depot, Lowe's, Floor & Decor, or other suppliers?
Yes. Floortake is fully customizable and works with materials from any store or distributor, including The Home Depot, Lowe's, Floor & Decor, Menards, TileBar, and The Tile Shop. Enter the piece dimensions, square footage per box, or roll width to generate accurate box counts, cut lists, and waste calculations.
